Description
Shape the future of global shipping with Flagship Founders. The maritime industry is at the cusp of a digital transformation that will fundamentally reshape the sector in the coming decade.  At Flagship Founders we build and partner with ambitious founding teams to create agile and scalable startup ventures and digital products for the global maritime market. We strongly believe that innovation lies at the confluence of deep sector insights, entrepreneurial thinking and information technology, and with an experienced team of seasoned entrepreneurs, investors and shipping experts we provide our ventures with the support that makes all the difference. We have successfully launched 3 companies since 2020 and will continue to launch at least 2 more every year. We are expanding our core team with this key position.
Your mission

You will shape the perception of Flagship Founders as a leading maritime technology venture studio. Across a range of channels you will communicate our vision and achievements, as well as those of the ventures in our ecosystem, designing and executing a strategy and creating content to engage audiences across the worlds of shipping and tech.   • Shape how Flagship Founders is viewed externally
  • Take responsibility for our external appearance on all relevant channels
  • Own strategic and operational planning of events and trade fair appearances
  • Create content for social media, press, and our website
  • Work closely with the management, sales team, talent acquisition and ventures to help them to reach their goals around revenue, investor acquisition and employer branding
  • Bring a wealth of ideas to maximise creativity in exploiting opportunities and to achieve the greatest possible success
Your profile
  • 2+ years of experience in communications/PR
  • Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field. 
  • Content writing experience for multiple media platforms.
  • Proven social media and networking expertise
  • Ability to balance delivering on daily tasks with longterm strategic view
  • Understanding of venture building and/or the maritime industry is a plus.
  • Native speaker level fluency in English is essential. German is a plus.
